You don't have to be falling apart to need support

About me
I work with people who are used to taking care of everyone else — first responders, clergy, and clinicians navigating the weight of high-stress, high-stakes careers. I understand that in these professions, asking for help can feel like it goes against everything you've been trained to do. My goal isn't to "fix" you — it's to give you a space where your story is taken seriously by someone who actually understands the culture you work in, not just the symptoms it produces.

Services
At Authentically You Healing & Wellness, therapy is built around the specific pressures of work that asks you to hold it together for other people — and psychological assessment for those who want a deeper, more structured understanding of themselves. Both are grounded in evidence-based practice, delivered with the pace and privacy this work requires.
Therapy for First Responders, Clergy & Clinicians
The demands of these professions don't show up in a textbook — they show up as hypervigilance that won't switch off, compassion fatigue mistaken for weakness, and the instinct to keep functioning long after you should have asked for help. This work addresses burnout, vicarious trauma, and chronic stress using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies — always adapted to your schedule and the realities of your role.
First responders — processing what the job exposes you to, without having to translate it for someone who's never seen it.
Clergy — support that holds space for both the spiritual and psychological weight clergy and faith leaders carry.
Clinicians — addressing the exhaustion of a career spent caring for others — and the discomfort of letting yourself be cared for.
Collaborative/Therapeutic Assessment - Coming soon
A structured evaluation process built for clarity, not just diagnosis. Rather than a one-way test administered and reported back to you, this is a collaborative process — designed to help you understand patterns in your thinking, behavior, or relationships with real, actionable insight you can use.
General Therapy Services
I also see a smaller number of clients outside my primary focus, including those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and reproductive mental health — with care that honors the cultural and spiritual dimensions of life within Black and faith communities.
